| I don't but I think she was super strung out on drugs when it occurred which screwed her because she did not know what was going on. Don't do drugs abroad! |
It wasn't the pot that screwed her- it was the police that screwed her. She wasn't confused about her whereabouts that night until the police told her that it was a fact that she was at the murder scene. She trusted them implicitly. |
| Actually, the thing that always really upset me with this case was when Amanda accused the bar owner of the murder - he was totally innocent yet was taken in based upon her accusations. Luckily, one of his customers (who was not an Italian) happened to hear about the bar owner being taken in and contacted police to vouch that he was in the bar with him that evening. |
| This is an easy one (unlike Jonbenet). Definitely not guilty. They got the guy in prison. End of story. |
But that didn't come out of the blue. IIRC the police saw her text to her boss saying "see you later" and thought they had met the night of the murder. They had found the hair of a black man at the murder scene and THEY immediately suspected the boss after putting 2 and 2 together. They pushed her to implicate him, told her to imagine herself at the house during the murder- what did she see? She knew they suspected him, so in her imagined scenario (which the police requested), she placed him at the scene. It's important to note that she immediately retracted this forced statement, but the retraction wasn't accepted. |
Also, the interrogation was in Italian which she barely spoke - with no translator and no lawyer present. False confessions happen all the time under police interrogation, let alone when it takes place in a language the suspect hardly knows. |
|
I actually find it difficult to believe there are people who think she is guilty.
I feel badly for the victim's family. But in their shock of immense grief, they were treated badly by Italian authorities. The entire case was a joke - aside from the actual guilty person being in jail. |
OJ is clearly an exception to the rule because he was famous and had money. |
|
After reading the book she wrote on her own, I was convinced of her guilt.
I believe she had a "kinky" sexual side to her & that when Merideth was in her room studying, Amanda, her boyfriend + quite possibly Rudy tried (unsuccessfully) to get her involved in their sexual erotica. When she refused to participate, I believe the others raped, then viciously killed her so she wouldn't tell anyone about it later. I think Amanda and Raffael were too stoned to realize what they were doing. Cannot prove any of this, but this is what my gut believes 100%. |
I thought there was a fair bit of DNA evidence linking her to the crime? |
How about Steven Avery? |
| No, but then I tend to give the benefit of the doubt. |
| I don't care one way or the other; I just wish she'd go away and we'd never hear another thing about her ever again. |
You should look at the details of that claim. It is total bullshit. |
Stoned on what, pot? Pot does not turn people into violent criminals. Nor does being a little "kinky" in the bedroom. |
