Your being myopic. People had to build communities and infrastructures. They had to establish laws and governments. They had to build all of the things that many of the "refugees" from the Third World want to just have handed to them. I know that you are probably a lefty, but do you really wish that none of this was done? Would you enjoy living in a mud hut?

But the point being it was all done on stolen land using slave labor and that can't be wished away. Did you know China and India were the top two economies up until early 1800s? Do you know what did them in? Yup, it was the sudden availability of HUGE swasths of stolen land and slave labor. Their textile industries were decimated coz they couldn't compete with slave labor.

So it is not all due to hard work and ingenuity. It was on blood and sweats of native americans and blacks. Whether you are lefty or righty doesn't change historical facts.

As to the current migrant crisis from the middle east, it is a direct cause of the unmitigated disaster propagated by the illegal Iraq war. Africa is beginning to suffer the initial effects of global warming as their lands bordering the Sahara are becoming deserts. Ofcourse the GOP thinks Global warming is a hoax and Trump thinks it is chinese conspiracy.

So, when are you giving your land back to the Native Americans? Yeah, that is what I thought.

My ancestors didn't take it away from Native Americans. Let those who did give it back first.
