DW Body Hair -- None Allowed? Double Standard?

I trim and shave my bikini area. Never went bare.
DH couldn't care less, but he is 45.

And there it is. Always comes out. I suppose women who prefer a clean shaved face on a man are also only sexually attracted to immature bodies? Gross.

Women, you can do what you want, but if you aren't willing to make accommodations to turn on your man, don't ever comment on his facial hair, haircut, clothing or shoes again. It's his business. And if you don't like it, you can jerk off to Brooks Brothers catalogs.

Hair is unsanitary

I layered my armpits and it was a great decision.

This is an amazing typo. The mental image of an armpit with enough hair to be layered just cracked me up.

See, I don't care two figs what people do with their own body hair but this kind of bullshit excuse makes me crazy. You want to go ahead and remove your hair: knock yourself out. But own the decision. All the evidence shows that hair removal is far more unsanitary. The hair is there to protect delicate parts of the body from germs. If your real priority is what is the most sanitary, then do some research and stop the hair removal. But I strongly suspect that this is just a line to defend something you want do do anyway.

If you are in the medical community, hair is determined to be unsanitary and can cause infection

It's growing back now and it itches like crazy. I will never remove my FDT ever again.

+1. The best look I ever had was after a procedure where they shaved only one side. New avant garde look of 1/2 triangle pubic hair.

If you are about to have surgery in the area, not in regular daily life.

Recent? Try the last 20 years.

I'm 40 and hairless everything was not a Thing when I was dating.

I guess this was pre internet porn culture.

+1 What in the world? That only applies to surgery, which isn't what we are talking about here c

DH has preferences (wax/shaved underarms, either bare or lush, no landing strip, legs really a non-issue, no mustache or unibrow). Luckily my preferences are the same as his because he knows it's ultimately my decision. I think there is s double standard in that grooming for a woman is more expected than manscaping. But given the work and pain involved it has to be my choice.
