Thing is, those subjects and being a woman is all Hillary has. Now, two of those three elements are taken away as we have someone who actually does the things he said he will do, in real life.

Clinton's trust issues, corruption, connections to Wall St, supporting trade deals bad for American workers, changing accents, philandering husband...they're starting to catch up.

Plus, someone should start a list of all the lives of innocent, law-abiding citizens Hillary has ruined.

"Hillary's America" is an excellent reminder of all the evil damage this woman has done over her 40 years of reign... so far.

Dinesh needs some dough to pay his lawyers.

Why should he have had big lawyer bills in the first place? Nobody else was ever put in prison for overcontribution to a political campaign. (And not a country club prison, either. He was sent where the murderers go.) It was payback from the Clintons.

Because he needed them? That's kind of stupid argument you are making

I agree with this, but with the IRS targeting tea party groups it's no surprise that he was targeted. This administration is everything Nixon wished he could be

Eh. Convention bounce. Trump is a complete moron, and I credit your average Bernie supporter with the ability to see that there are two options here: Hillary or Donald.

Also, still 9% for Johnson? I don't think the Republican Party has quite the unity you hope for.

No, he broke the law, he wasn't "targeted."

I'm making a stupid argument? How difficult is it for you to understand: He needed them because it was payback for criticizing a Democrat! It used to be we had free speech in America.

Who else was sent to a rough "murderers prison" for overcontributing to a political campaign? It was payback.

Anonymous wrote:Question: does the post convention bounce apply to the DNC or just the RNC?

Generally the way this works is that the convention bounces cancel each other out and the polling after all the dust has settled is pretty close to what it was before the convention. It's hard to predict this year though, so who knows.

Be very careful with this (and any other telephonic) poll - they couldn't find enough 18-34 yo registered voters to make a cross tab. It's pretty irresponsible for them to release this poll and claim it's representative.

It will come down to the debates. That is where Hillary seriously has the opportunity to put the Donald away. He got away with his shtick during the Republican debate debacles, but he will have to know his shit for the national debates -- and he doesn't and he won't.

That is when and where Hillary can solidify her support among independents, Sanders supporters and ACTUAL Republicans.

The DNC convention is going to be a hot mess.

And riddled with never-ending scandal.

It just keeps coming. The new "impartial" chairman is another Clinton hack.

There was another email that Donna forwarded to DNC and saying to the effect that "I may have to cuss out the Sanders campaign" ...

How cosseted are you that this seems extreme or offensive to you? By late May, people with basic math skills could grasp that Bernie wasn't winning. Golly gee, why might the Democratic National Committee want an Independent out of a race he could not win? Why might they have wanted to "cuss" (oh, scary word!) out the Sanders campaign?

The man might not share my values, but I can say that he is honest and passionate in his views, and I admire those things about him. He tried to run a fair campaign against some of the most dishonest people in the country.

If nothing else, I hope his run for presidency shakes up the system and forces necessary changes.

I know it's a just A small sample size but I work with a lot of Bernie supporters. Everything the one of them is angry at what Bernie did, he should have donated that money to charity. I disagreed with Bernie I don't want to Key issues but I respected him. I do not respect him anymore

It is easy to go overboard on this. I think most Bernie supporters share the long term goals of the Democratic party and will vote for the candidate mostly likely to actually sign legislation that Sanders himself would promote. For example, ACA is not perfect, but it is a hell of lot closer to providing coverage for all than anything the GOP would support.

For whatever reason, there is an especially noisy faction of Bernie supporters, especially online, who are playing a different game. They seem to be more "anti-corporation" than "pro-" anything that would realistically benefit the average worker. The Democrats have never been and will never be "anti-corporation".

Hopefully after this week all of their grievances will have been aired and there can be a respectful parting of the ways. I'd love to see some of that energy going into building a new party from the ground up; forget Jill Stein, how about getting some mayors and city councilmen elected.
