Please subtract the Kasich, Rubio and Cruz voters who absolutely dont want Trump either.

I am passionately Cruz. I will vote for Trump

Well, this is anecdotal but one of my best friends (AA) parents are voting for T.

They are very Christian, dad is former military, and they have major issues with Islam/terrorism. It trumps (no pun intended) everything else for them.

Did they vote for Obama twice and would they love for him to stay in office?

My reasons for voting for him would be picked apart on here and in person. I don't want to subject myself to it. Not a troll. Just uncomfortable being transparent about a decision that is unpopular among my peers and to the larger extent-the nation.

I consider a plan to vote for Trump a major character flaw, especially after sampling the circus that is the GOP convention.

But we don't know each other (I hope) so it's safe to say anonymously. Likewise, you can give your reasons without much impact. So why not share your reasons? Yes, they'll be picked apart but what's the point of saying you'll vote for Trump if not to say why?

Saying that someone who votes for Trump has a major character flaw explains why people don't want to admit it. It's such a harsh judgment against them on a personal level.

See? That's what I mean! Equating a Trump supporter with a skinhead. That's why I think there are more people out there who plan to vote for Trumo but don't want to admit it.

Sorry. Emoji fail on my part. I agree with you and am sick of racists and sexists acting offended at being called out on it.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but yes they voted for Obama twice. They are lifelong Democrats.

No, I wasn't being sarcastic. Well after Clinton picks her VP I think they'll change their mind.

Wasn't "equating" them. But the fact that it's a harsh personal judgment is unavoidable. This is an important election and I believe I have an obligation to speak out against the policies Trump's proposed. If you feel judged and want to hide, feel free. But I'm not going to pretend like he's a reasonable choice when he's not.

Probably not a troll. There are others who think this way. I just pray for them. And make sure everyone I know registers and actually votes.

I'm fully aware it's a harsh judgement. If I knew OP in person, I'd advise him or her to keep their Trump vote to themselves. I might or might not bother speaking with them again, but at a minimum, I'd put everything they said or did in the future through that judgement filter.

But if OP took the time to post his/her preference in an online forum, it seems just as worthwhile to post the reasons why. They're acknowledging it's unusual for their demographic and Obama appreciation. If they're honest, then I'd like to know how one pivots from Obama to Trump.

Shoot, OP you should call the Trump campaign! Tell probably put you on as a featured speaker at the RNC you're like a unicorn!
