Personable? As in obnoxious bully?

Newt is too old. Jeff Sessions is good but I am not sure he has the energy and skills to deal with the media. Mike Flynn shot himself in the foot with his pro-choice comments over the weekend. I like Tom Cotton but he has not been mentioned anywhere for the past week.

I personally think Trump can win with either one of them, and I like Christie better. But it looks like the media and political consultants all think it's going to be Mike Pence. Who is your pick of the two?

You've got your head buried so deep in your delusions, it's quite fun reading your fantasies about a trump victory that can only happen in your fried brain . Look even if your clementine colored hero picks John the Baptist as veep , he's still losing the general election badly . The war hero McCain couldn't win , the ' I know about so much about the economy' former governor Romney couldn't win . Here you are believing in the chances of your nail polish peddler of winning . Sorry dude but as as Lindsey graham said , America is no longer producing enough angry Caucasian males for the republicans to remain in business for long
It's game over.

It's you who is delusional. We have a nationalist and anti-globalist wave throughout the world. Trump and Bernie to some extent are the only two candidates who are riding high on that wave here in the US. Pundits predicted 70% chance of UK remain. Brexit happened. Pundits predicted Trump's demise in the primaries. He crushed his competition. I don't think Trump needs to pick Pence to win. I like to see Christie or Cotton. But he will win this election on his own.

Newest polls back this up. There are plenty of angry male Caucasians registered as democrat in PA, OH, and FL who now back Trump due to his views on immigration and trade deals. As is the case in the last 4 elections, it will come down to a handful swing states and the demographics of those states make Trump very competitive in each. Trump is now tied or leading in PA, OH, and FL. If he wins these three, he will win.

Man I hope he picks Christie , can you imagine the embarrassment if it isn't Christie after all that ass kissing ? By aligning himself mouth breather Christie has effectively put an end to whatever credibility he had left . This should be last rodeo , sad thing is it won't work

Nope. It could still payoff. He could appoint Christie as the AG. I disagree with PP that Trump doesn't have a chance. People vote against their own interests all the time.

He only needs to win two of them.

I think if Newt were 10 years younger, he would be the pick. Pence is not a good campaigner. Trump needs to pivot to be more presidential and makes his VP the attack dog. I personally think Christie makes more sense. But any one of them is fine.

Actually, if you look at the map of swing states, he needs all three plus one more medium size swing state to win. The map does not favor him.

It's going to be Christie. The others all have the potential to overshadow Trump one way or another, and that is the one thing Trump can't stand.

So, it looks like Pence. That means IN gains a D governor, and will also have a new D senator in the form of Evan Bayh. I predict that IN will go for Clinton. Thus, Pence ends up at a DC think tank with former vp candidate on his resume. Or working for Trump. I hope John Edwards run since 2024.

It looks like Trump wants Christie, and his children are leaning Pence. Christie prosecuted Ivanka's FIL. I think Newt is out. He had to request to be in today's "Apprentice" in Indiana.

I think it will be Pence - an unknown with little baggage.

I think Christie will be A.G. and in charge of the transition.

Newt will just be an advisor.

That would be the smart choice, therefore Trump won't do it. The family went to Indiana to talk him into taking Pence, but his gut is telling him to pick Christie.

My money is Trump picks Mayor McCheese.

Mostly right. Trump could never hire a loser to work for him.
