Do Preppy Men Date Indian Women?

My preppy electrical engineer cousin just married an Indian woman. Both sets of parents seemed fine with it but I think my cousin's mom thinks his wife is snobby.

I suspect that's based on your definition of preppy. Half of the Indian ladies I know who are married to white guys are married to Jewish men, which are kind of by definition not preppy.

PP you quoted, I was thinking of Ivy or Southern type jocks. Actually don't personally know an Indian woman married to a Jewish guy.

My own husband is literally a WASP from Mississippi who went to a very preppy Southern liberal arts school and played football in HS. For sure kind of a preppy guy but there's more to his personality of course. But he's not rich. He has a MBA and a solid job but no family money or anything.

This is basically "colorism," which isn't a common thing among whites. A tan white person is not viewed as "inferior" to a pale white person. But among People of Color, colorism is a big deal.

It seems to me that super preppy men married younger. I went to a preppy SEC southern college and the preppy guys met their wives there and got married mid 20s.

YEP! I'm super pale and would love it if my kids were tanner than I am. I hate burning up in the sun. Skin color amongst whites doesn't matter at all. Italian skin is preferred to Irish skin.

I think youd have more luck with those who are republican. Republican guys or right leaning ones are more likely to marry out of their race than elitist preppy liberal types. I know they are more racist. My right leaning brother married an indan girl out of high school and my hispanic cousin married a white guy. Both doing well. Although i do know a hispanic girl who married an indian guy family didnt accept her and his mom was intrusive even well beyond after they had daughters that they divorced

Some of those white preppy guys are probably fascinated by women who they deem "exotic." You might qualify. Some of the preppiest whitest dudes I know definitely date Indian, Hispanic or East Asian women.

I would date one. But I wouldn't marry one. To be fair, I would marry an AA woman before an Indian one. Sorry but my kids need to be raised Christian.
