Latchkey kid: Can I ask 10 year old to text me when he gets on the bus or home?

Yes, they work on battery, and the battery lasts a long time. You can pick them up at Home Depot or call a locksmith.

Same here. The first thing I did when I walked in the door was call my mom to let her know I was home.
