For my college girls' baskets: newest iphone, latest birchbox kit, subscription to blue apron, amtrak tickets to come home (NYC to DC), Stubb & Wootton slippers, Lindt ladybugs and bunnies.

Many Christmas traditions have roots in paganism. A non-Christian family throwing their 7-year-old a First Communion party would, like a non-Jewish family throwing a B'hat Mitzvah for their daughter, be offensive, Non Christians celebrating Christmas? Not so much.

^Wel, I guess it would have to be a non Catholic family, not just a non Christian family, throwing a First Communion party in the above example. But the point still stands.
