| Madeira. The patio at the back of the Main building looks out over the Potomac. There are woods with trails you can walk/ run in. White fences and horses. |
Sour grapes? |

DC: NCS/STA - toured there and the view from their art annex is stunning, beautiful sports facilities, new library building on the way.
VA: Madeira, gorgeous open space and views. |
| STA for sure. I was surprised by the difference in outward look of NCS compared to STA. |
| Stone Ridge is very pretty too. Hamilton house is such a great building and the new turf field is amazing. |
| Landon is gorgeous...esp early in the morning... In the fall, beautiful leaves and mist on the fields and in the spring...the landscaping around the stadium has beautiful flowering trees...it is really beautiful, like a small college campus or NE boarding school... |
NP but...so what? SSSAS is nevertheless a pretty blah collection of campuses. They're perfectly fine, but not compared to some of the others listed in this thread. |
| Madeira - the view from the back of the CA is breathtaking |
| This is an opinion piece folks, state yours and quit knocking others. Perhaps someone finds the SSSAS grounds of the upper school and Lloyd House and the grounds of the LS to be lovely. I do, but my vote was Madeira. Not knocking anyone else vote - how about we consider on the 60 degree day how lucky we are to have any of these campuses in the middle of a large urban city. |
Sssas lower school had a nice little campus feel but the middle and upper schools look like your average public, one building school. And kind of 80s. No old school charm whatsoever and yet not the beauty of the rolling lawns with the more modern campus of Potomac. |

I think the Cathedral is beautiful but I don't think their campus or buildings are. Their sports facility is a logistical tight nightmare and their parking is even worse.
Sidwell's sports facility and grounds remind me of a college. I think it is gorgeous. Inside is just okay. Madeira is beautiful on the outside but I haven't been inside Potomac I don't get. Nothing special at all. Very similar to the school my child goes to - Holton, which is average at best. Desperate need for a sports facility overhaul. |

Madeira: Beautiful on the outside. They are slowly updating the buildings which will make the inside match the outside.
Visi: Beautiful campus in G-town with some lovely buildings. WIS is similar in this regard. Cathedral Schools: Beautiful view of the Cathedral. Glad they are working on their facilities. Prep: Gorgeous chapel. Nice overall campus. Episcopal has a lovely campus with some lovely buildings. Woodberry has a great location outside of Charlottesville with beautiful mountain views. Foxcroft s another school outside the metro area with a pretty campus. |

Langley is a beautiful school. The campus is cozy but large. Lots of different buildings to separate the schools.
Madeira is the most beautiful followed by STA. |
| Episcopal. |
