| Prep if you are an athlete, especially a swimmer. The weight room is great, as is the indoor track. Now everyone will say, they should have spent the money elsewhere or saved it, but the question is about facilities. |
| Sandy Spring! I wish I could live there |
| NCS/STA hands down. Stunning. |
| I'm an NCS alum and I think its gorgeous... but my kids went to Sidwell Summer last year and I really loved the campus. Once you are on it you feel in a very private space. |
| NCS & St. Albans |
|
Madeira is gorgeous. Like a very wealthy small liberal arts college out in the country.
I thought Potomac was ugly. Looked much like my own (public) suburban high school. Same with Sandy Spring: beautiful grounds but the school buildings not that nice. Field is pretty but small. Same with Maret. NCS and STA are beautiful. Burgundy Farm is not a HS, but is lovely in a rustic way: very much feels like a school built to resemble a charming old farm. |
| Sr. Anselms has a beautiful campus. |
|
NCS and STA. No question. Location and Close and original buildings have gravitas and history and are quintessential Washington. Renovations, updated athletic facilities and new buildings are stunning.
Outside the beltway Gergetown Prep's campus is exceptional and Madiera is beautiful. |
Agreed. |
You are out of your mind. Not even in top 10. Great school. Very blah facilities. New Theater is lovely but nothing amazing. Looks like nice Suburban public school from 1980s. |
| I agree. SSSAS also looks like my public HS looked in the 80s. Facilities are good in the sense that everything you could need is there, but it ain't pretty. It's not hideous but none of the campuses is beautiful. |
| A 2nd for St Anselms Abbey |
|
For beauty of buildings, St. Albans.
For impressive, pretty grounds, Potomac, Madeira, Landon For impressive interior spaces: NCS, Sidwell, Landon |
I'm PP -- forgot that Visitation has, IMO, very pretty, private grounds. |
|
I second Landon!
I was impressed with this school the most when touring. Actually, we loved everything about this school! |
