Please read the cover story in the December issue of Atlantic. This might be interesting and/or fun for adults. But for kids it is excruciating. And it starts with us.

I guess the kids like sun and fun.

OF OHIO is the key piece of information here.
Not Miami, FL. Miami, OH.

You even name one name, true or false, and I will hit the report button so fast you won't know what hit you. What a piece of self-serving work you are.

I apologize, I thought by saying 20 were going to 1 college, it would tip you off that it was a joke. I am sorry.

Thanks close call. I was ready to accept Sidwell instead of GDS. I think GDS is the true elite in DC.

Get a new gig. You're just messing with people.

For several years some would-be DCUM comedian has been making silly claims about GDS and Harvard. They are usually phrased in an over the top way that makes people mad at GDS. They probably are not from anyone affiliated with GDS, and they stay in business because people eat up any Harvard college reference like hungry carp. A school like GDS certainly could have six early acceptances at Harvard in a given year, but the years of the troll goofing around on the "Harvard loves GDS" theme means people are inherently skeptical.

With that said, crazy to think it's relevant to picking what school your child should attend. You know what private schools are selective; by and large the more selective private schools send more kids to Ivies. No guarantee it will be your child that is Ivy bound, however, so better to feel good about the substantive school itself, not what you hope its college results will be in 5 years.

Wrong Miami.

Didn't you hear? They're moving the campus to Miami so they can attract more GDS students. Brilliant, right?

Bolton? The one in England? I'm surprised there are that many kids from Manchester coming over this way because the costs are so much higher here.
