TBH, Lotte has rotting produce. |
White people don't like it when they are the minorities. It doesn't matter what race, culture, or ethnic group that populates a school or a community. White people only value diversity when there is a sprinkle of minorities. Some of them still want to feel superior in all facets of life. However, that is slowly changing as America becomes more diverse. |
| Indians and they are not social. |
Agree with your observations but his is true of most people. If you had a choice, nobody would pick to be the minority faction. That said, I am surprised by the comments on this thread. |
Wow. My (Caucasian) kids went there and had a great experience. Such a racist thread. I don't have a problem with Indian neighbors, and I don't mind their smart kids driving up test scores, not getting into trouble, and bmw's everywhere. Brambleton is nice also, definitely more socioeconomic mix and generally smaller homes than Loudoun Valley. |
I live in Ashburn and there aren't BMW's everywhere. I will say though, even though the Indians definitely are not friendly and do stick to themselves, I'd be pleanty happy if my kids went to Rosa Lee. As we all know, public schools teach to the middle and even the low income kids at Rosa Lee perform very well. The middle at Rosa Lee is like top performing at many other schools that don't have the Asian population. |
try and work with all Indians every day. I want to shoot myself. |
The bmw comment is specific to lve, not ashburn as a whole. Seem to be Indian car of choice. |

I don't live in Loudoun Valley but in another community by the same builder, just down the road. I agree with this poster. I'm a SAHM so I'm out with my daughter in the neighborhood during the day and I'm pretty much ignored by the Indians. Like I will literally walk past some on the sidewalk and either smile or say good morning and I get zero response. I do see one elderly couple every morning that I am happy to see because they always smile and say hi. It's extremely isolating and I'm very sad about it. One of our (Caucasian) neighbors recently tried to organize a block party and we were the only ones that showed up. I can't wait to move. We've only been here a year but have regretted it immensely. |
| Sorry to hear about this. Our family had the area under consideration but after touring and doing some research we have decided against the area. Hope that you have found a welcoming friend group out that way. |
Get off your high horse pp. I doubt you could tell who is English, Irish, Dutch etc just by their face
|
Oh, you don't like hearing about how ignorant you are about India (best country)? Or having every work lunch be Indian food? And everyone, knowing how to beat the standardized test system <> "smart." Ask these people to do anything requiring critical thinking, and utter panic will ensue. |
| Yeah, someone's getting into TJ. |
Go ahead. You won't be missed. |
