Which schools accept after count day?

I meant, can they enroll kids not in the order of the waitlist after count day. It sounds like in years past schools have done this.

I do. Latin took a kid from BASIS after count day. And BASIS has consistently taken 5th graders after count day.

If they take students, they have to follow the waitlist.
And yes, there are HRCS that take students after count day if there are spots. Two Rivers is an example.

The difference is that if the DCPS school is a neighborhood school they have to accept a child.

I have friends and colleagues who work in title 1 schools around the city who confirm this every year.
It's true even if you don't want to believe it.
