Suspicious white van outside my house.

That’s what WalMart is for.

Why would someone want to overnight park in a loud unsafe Walmart parking lot, when they can park on a quiet residential street that allows overnight parking?

Or you could call the non emergency number and say:

“Hi, I don’t mean to overreact, but there’s a white van outside my house that I don’t recognize. I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble, but I think they may be doing drugs in the van. I’m wondering if someone could come and check it out? Okay, thanks, bye.”

I'm loving the 2015 replies that suggest it's a roving ISIS hit squad.

You...think ISIS was not a consideration in 2015?

A weird thing about Republicans is they always have a few fantasy crimes circulating. I think it’s usually white women and girls being abducted from the Target parking lot or being stalked, but it’s also stuff like the van looking for military families or fentanyl in the Halloween candy, etc. I think it just gives them a little thrill.

Ah! That’s why people were suggesting doing something that would get you cancelled within 24 hours. Makes sense.

They do like to feel like they're always on the verge of being victimized, but at the last minute will thwart the evildoers through their righteous vigilance. I assume that today they'd imagine the van was a roving Antifa hit squad.

I would call 911 immediately and report them for trespassing and potentially casing your home!

Was it a white box truck? Definitely the D.C. snipers!

Also, and this is really important, if you have to go out and get the mail, make sure you walk to and fro in a random zig zag pattern. And keep that head on a Swivel

Wow, you people are paranoid if not crazy. The guy can park his van for an hour or so if he wants to. I frequently park my car in neighborhoods for just as long when I'm on appointments have have time to kill, or have to finish work in my "office" which is my car. I've been confronted by angry idiots before who feel they own the street and must know every person who parks there. It's none of your business, nosy Nellie. It's probably a hard working person with an actual job to do during the day, unlike you.

Yikes. You guys are super paranoid. Sometime I do night drives around my neighborhood with my baby if they can’t fall asleep and I always wonder if my neighbors think I’m some robber or creep staking out the neighborhood as I circle the block for the third time in 10 minutes. Just trying to get the kid to sleep.
