But she does not produce songs with a pedophile, JayZ does... get it.

It's okay to be friends with a pedophile and to bring them around your kids but it's not okay to point out how sick it is.

exactly how was that her point...again
she could have used her own kids
but..yea.

WUT? "I can't wait until Amy Poehler's kids are old enough to be peed on by R. Kelly" does not make sense because Amy Poehler doesn't work with R. Kelly, but Jay-Z does. Amy Poehler hasn't furthered R. Kelly's career, but Jay-Z has. The joke is supposed to be offensive, but not lacking in all sense.

Does Amy Poehler make those type of jokes about Baldwin, Blanchett, Johansen, Stewart, et al. who make movies with Woody Allen, furthering his career?

EXACT-A-FUCKLY!

So what -- because her dad has worked with this guy that makes a 3 yr old fodder for a tasteless joke? How about you make the point about the horror of pedophilia without using kids as the brunt of it...or at least find a way to use your own kids... if you are so damn funny and creative.

What about all the black little girls that R Kelly peed on? You know they were really fucking young... like 11 and 12 years old.

Why isn't anyone talking about the actual molestation that happened to them, by a guy that JayZ supports? Or are they fair play, bcause they arent Queen B's child?

The guy is creepy, but when did he do anything illegal or inappropriate with a minor? She wasn't his stepdaughter and she wasn't underage. So gross, but not illegal.

R.Kelly actually did stuff to underage girls.

I just don't find the situations comparable but maybe I'm missing something.

Keep making excuses for pedophile Woody. Was R Kelly convicted of any crimes involving minors? Nobody hasn't answered that. I know there was at least one allegation with a trial, but he was acquitted and it turned out the girl was not underage. Woody's own daughter has accused him of child molestation, so we are beyond the marrying the daughter he was a father figure to. On a different note, I did not know people called Beyoncé "Queen B". I'm old.

R. Kelly is a sicko!
Woody Allen is also a sicko who married his own stepdaugther. If you do not think there is a problem with that, perhaps you are also sick.
If I never hear from or about Beyonce and Jay-Z, I will be ecstatic, but I still think the joke was in poor taste, unkind and stupid. They could have said the same thing about your kid and I would have found it equally offensive. The joke did not work, the offense factor far outweighed the so-called point she was trying to make.
EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, honey. You just didn't get it. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OFFENSIVE AND IN BAD TASTE BECAUSE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO REFLECT BADLY ON THE CHARACTER WHO MADE THE JOKE. It wasn't supposed to be funny in its own right. Look at the reaction of the other character. He doesn't laugh. For the love, please stop opining on things you don't understand.

I think you are the one who is missing the point. IT WAS IN F****** BAD TASTE TO USE THIS KIND OF JOKE. PERIOD. . Just because some people DO NOT THINK THAT S*** WAS FUNNY, OR MADE A POINT, DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE STUPID!. It means we don't find it funny, end of story. NO SHIT she was trying to make her character look bad, but she chose a horrible way to do it. She went to far. I am sorry you feel that only stupid people don't find the same things funny that you do.
Get over your pompous self!

1) They were not 11 and 12, they were early teens

2) When the shit happened, when the Village Voice did an expose, there was plenty of talk about it

3) The joke failed. If it was intended to make a point about R. Kelly and/or about the poor character who said it, it did not work. What it did was make a point about the poor character of the mofo who wrote it and approved it. And if you are so concerned about who Jay Z works with, I suggest you don't buy his records, I DON'T.
Nor do I buy R. Kelly's records. You want to see some good(and acutally funny) satire regarding R. Kelly - watch the Boondocks episode " The Trial of R. Kelly" - Aaron Mcgruder made his points clear WITHOUT refererences to peeing on toddlers.

What does the race of the victims have to do with it? He's a freak no matter who he victimized.

The people who criticize Amy Poehler for joking about a black girl seem to care very much about race. In fact, that seems to be one of the main points of the criticism.

And he's not just a freak. He is a rapist and child abuser.
