Laundry: IT IS NEVER DONE

I also like washing dishes by hand, again, I feel so accomplished doing this.

The chores I really hate are cleaning the bathroom and emptying out the kitty litterbox. Ugh.

When you live alone it is easy, however if you share your home with young children then it ALWAYS feels like while you are cleaning up one mess, they are at the same time creating another one as you sweat.

There is something to be said for a laundromat and getting all the laundry done at once. That would be a nice feeling.

I do laundry 6 or 7 days a week. Three family members exercise daily. There's just a lot to be washed.

I hate putting away laundry. I don't know why.

I hate dealing with laundry also. With two kids it seems our laundry situation has really gotten out of control. I just can't stay ahead of it. Even worse our laundry room is in the basement so it's a real hassle to take up and down the stairs. I've also given up on folding clothes. So long as they are in the dresser I'm happy.

Yep. There will be undone dirty laundry every day including the DAY YOU DIE. And the people who don't do laundry don't care, don't see it, don't value it, don't even bother to put the clean clothes you leave them away. It is maddening.

Noooooooooo! This is the most morbid reality thought.

Now that I have a 2 month old I do laundry every day. I don't mind it as much as I hate doing dishes. We cook a lot so there are always lots of dishes. I hate scrubbing off the pans and getting my hands wet and dry over and over.

The chores I hate: cleaning the bathroom. My DH is nasty and doesn't clean up after himself at all. The bathroom that he uses is so gross. I rarely use it and choose to use the main bathroom instead of the one in our room. I also get tired of cleaning the floors which seem to get dirty again minutes after I clean them.

Hmm. If you come over and do my laundry, I will clean your bathroom.

lol I wish! I'd do a thousand loads of laundry a week for you if you'd come to my house once a week and clean this one small bathroom! I don't even mind cleaning the main bathroom, it's just the lack of maintenance in between cleanings that makes it such a gross chore for me!

Why doesn't he clean it?

That's a good question. I can only guess it's because he doesn't care if it's dirty and nobody else uses it so nobody else sees it.

Anonymous wrote:Laundry is my favorite chore since it's super easy. As a working mother of four, I do a couple loads every night--towels and clothing. I stopped separating clothing (pretty much stopped buying white clothing), and I dont fold laundry during the week. Instead, everything gets put in a basket and put back in the appropriate bedroom.

PSA: Under Armour doesn't require ironing (thank you, Kevin Plank!).

Same here, I love doing laundry. years ago, when I had a roommate, he thought I took in other folks' laundry because I was so obsessive about it.
