LOL

I know - that poor second husband! She married him, had a family with him, presumably lived a long life with him. But who did she love all these years? Who did she go to in heaven? Some guy she met.80 some years ago and that she only knew for a couple days.

James Cameron should do another movie about Rose and her second husband. Was it a Bridges of Madison County type deal between them? Did she just settle and marry him?

This is why I prefer to think it was a dream and not her heaven

Rose died but when she reached heaven, she discovered that Jack had already hooked up with Giselle (who dumped Tom because he was gay).

I think it was heaven though I must admit I never gave it much thought until now.,
What I love most about the movie is how jack was basically an unknown person. A John doe if you will. Rose hardly knew his story. I long to know jacks story. I'm so glad he found love and that he was remembered. But yes there was room for him

I agree PP that knowing Jack's Story would be so interesting. James Cameron should make a pre-equal to Titanic, give us some backstory on Jack, how he ended up on the streets, what his own family background was like. Who were his parents...??

Then they should skip a few years and show us Rose's Story. Who she married, what kind of life she lived, how much she thought about Jack over the years.

I do agree with another PP that she did only know the guy for a few days. And yet he was the lasting love of her life. In theory, she also should have taken into account that the first days are usually the BEST days in any romance so she only saw the enhanced version of who he was or represented himself to be.

God! I sound like such buzzkill, huh?? Lol. Sorry guys.
