Agreed but i would guess these responses are not really reflective about this area because in the thread OP is talking about people tell a 27 year old woman to settle for a divorced guy because in 2 years everyone else will be taken, which is especially in this area far from the truth.

I would guess this response is more the norm here in DC for young professionals regardless of what this thread might suggests.
