Different PP, but I think the point is that endorsements increase their recognition amongst the population that doesn't follow the sport. I HATE NASCAR and golf, but I do recognize some of the faces and names from endorsements.

Fun (but wasteful) game OP. I think we should all start new threads that list 3 names (from sports and pop culture) and see how many people recognize them.

Since we don't know why OP asked, might as well waste some more time.

Who recognizes these names:
1. Denny Hamlin
2. Jimmy Johnson

Don't know any of these or the other 3 a PP posted. Knew all of the OP, but my mom is tennis obsessed, with RF especially.
