Do you recognize these names?

Obviously a lot of people don't know that, and OP didn't ask you to say who they are, but simply to answer a simple question. Why is that so hard???

All. I'm guessing the "don't knows" aren't posting.

BTW, ask your average American if they recognize these:

1. Neymar
2. Messi
3. Ronaldo

and the results won't be much different.

I'm sure this will be pathetic, but I'm an adult New Kids on the Block fan. I saw an interview with Joey McIntyre last fall where he got asked what his kids were going to be for Halloween. I know who Messi is because one of Joey's kids dressed up like him.

Your king just got dethroned by barely "just good" Djokovic on his clay court: 7-5, 6-3, 6-1.

So in your humble opinion it is the number of endorsements that determines who's the king and who's just, accidentally and at he moment, good?

OP here....this isn't about Americans not recognizing any of these names. In all likelihood these answers would likely be similar if the participants came from every corner of the world. But again, let's please not discuss anything just yet. Let people vote.

And right during one of the big four events of the year is the most likely time that people are going to recognize the names. If you were to ask in February or October, I bet you would get FAR fewer people recognizing the names.

Different PP, but I think the point is that endorsements increase their recognition amongst the population that doesn't follow the sport. I HATE NASCAR and golf, but I do recognize some of the faces and names from endorsements.

New Kids: Joey, Donny, uh.. and the other ones.
