I did. I had just binge watched the first season over the weekend so it is fresh in my mind. I didn't think the new episode was as good. It was cluttered and slow to get going; Rachel was somewhat likable in that I felt sorry for her but now she is turning into the same sort of cartoon that Quinn is . Chet looks way better, though!

I agree with all of this. Felt a little like they were revisiting old territories too - with the old cameraman ex-bf being "bitter" etc.

But maybe its a slow burn and there will be some hilarious and action packed episodes ahead. Well, we can live in hope anyway...

I loved last season, but I could not even watch the full premiere for this season. There is not a single likable character. My guess is that they will soften Rachel over time or something, because they were trying too hard to make it clear she had gone dark. But it is no longer entertaining.

So disappointed in season 2, it's gone completely off the rails.

Every week there's a new article about 'how season two went off the rails' 'can unReal be saved' etc. I think a lot of the show's missteps have to do with the departure of Marti Noxon, the article before the beginning of season two made me really dislike Sarah Shapiro, iirc she didn't want to bring Jeremy the camera man back and said that basically the only positive thing she could say about it was that at least they're employing a military veteran---if I was the actor I would be LIVID.

I kind of love season 2. It's so crazy and weird. I don't know how it's sustainable. But I do love it.
