Neighbors let dogs run free in neighborhood

I'm not so sure I could stop my 90-lb dog-reactive rescue dog from going after a little dog in the yard.

Don't try and pen a neighbors dog in your backyard. That is not even legal. If a dog has a gps attached to the collar the owners will know how long the dog was in your backyard before the AC came, and the owner, your neighbor, will know it was you

And I am not sure if you can legally pen a neighbors dog in your yard, especially when it is possible for you to let it go back home

why do you say that? There is very little traffic where we live and our dog does not roam far.

You must be a troll. Your dog obviously roamed far enough for long enough to get picked up by AC.

AC told me the name of the road where he was picked up. I live on this road and it is not a long road

Do you know if I could attach a fitbit type of a tracker to see his movements?

Holy hell, PP, I have two dogs and I can't believe you're serious. If your dog is off leash, the dog needs to stay on your property, no matter what the circumstances of your neighborhood. Get an electric fence or a leash. What if there's a reactive dog in the neighborhood? A frightened child? And I seriously clean up enough dog poop as is, I don't want your dog wandering over and pooping in my yard. This is basic safety and common courtesy.

Teach the kids to watch where they walk.

It's not good for anyone for this to be going on. Esp. the poor dogs. You should report them.
