Choosing a college based off weather?

Grew up in DC and only applied to colleges in the south because of weather (Tulane, Emory, Rice, U of Texas, Trinity). Stayed in Houston for 20 years before returning to DC. No regrets at all.

If weather is truly an issue, then, yes, UF tops UM.

Only if "weather" means you prefer hot to cold. We are the opposite. We are pansies and wilt in heat. So, for us Mich would trump UF.

I also have a DD loving college life and weather at UM (the one in Coral Gables, FL).
