OP here ... I forgot to comment on this, too. I didn't remember/know her age. So, 'at least' she is not in her 20s, to make things 'not as bad' ... In any case, she is still younger, fit, attractive, etc. Again, it is all essentially no surprise. |

I'm not OP. and not obsessed with Herjavec, but just saw this link while catching up reading Reality Steve.
I believe this article is legit. It also discusses their marriage issues/separation. "Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec: I Thought About Suicide After My Marriage Fell Apart" http://www.people.com/article/robert-herjavec-contemplated-suicide-marriage-breakup-dwts-shark-tank-kym-johnson |
| PP again, it's safe to say I'm obsessed with Bachelor franchise, which is why I'm reading Reality Steve! |
That makes me like him even more. He's a down to earth guy. |
|
If I were an entrepreneur he had invested in, I'd be freaking out about this news. But hopefully this means he has battled the demons and is moving forward.
And also, if he's really practicing with Kym 8 hours a day, how much is he doing on his business/professional stuff? Clearly Shark Tank isn't filming now, but the business world still moves on. |

You guys are soooooo gullible!
This is a man who built an empire based on his image and brand. This People article is his PR spin. Photo op serving the homeless? Gimme a break! The fact that his kids didn't speak with him when he left their mom should have given you a clue. This is a guy in the throes of a cliche midlife crisis. The fact that he's had sooooo much work done to his face, teeth and hair should have clued you into that. He's trying to regain his youth. He will likely have a second family with a younger woman after he's had his fun...especially if his older kids disown him (although he can probably buy their love). Think: Alec Baldwin. This guy will eventually marry a much younger woman and have kids with her. And when his older children have kids, he'll make them call him Robbie instead of Grandpa. The obsession with this man is beyond me. |
|
PP, First, I don't think anyone here is obsessed with him.
Second, I also believe he didn't leave his wife. I think she said "I've had enough" and kicked him out. That's what my SIL said to my brother after 18 years of marriage and 13 of them he was married to his job. |
|
This guy is not a saint! If his wife kicked him out, it's because he was cheating.
Ten bucks says Shark Tank gave him a taste of Hollywood, and DWTS is his attempt to go from D List celebrity to A list...at least temporarily. |

And he's dancing to the song, "You make me feel so young!" 'Nuff said :0) |
|
OP here. I appreciate 18:18 that you mentioned nobody is obsessed with him; it is getting irritating how that keeps coming up, and it is not true.
I've got mixed feelings about that People article. Read alone, I admire what he has done and continues to do with the homeless shelter, and the feelings he expresses come across as genuine regarding his family. But then, a slightly cynical part can't help to wonder about timing. There is real overlap now with his personal news and the whole Dancing stint, and then meeting Kym, etc. Plus, after all this, we have no idea about his wife's view, and likely never will. I still want to think he is humble, etc., since those were my first impressions. |
|
Humble???
Humble men don't have their agents arrange for photo ops while they are allegedly doing charity work...and then plant the article in People just in time to promote his DWTS gig and deflect attention away from the fact that he split from his wife and is banging his dance partner. You are seriously delusional if you think he's a "good guy." His own kids aren't speaking with him. |

Scroll down to the pic of him dancing with his GF on a private jet. I'm sure his kids think he's a swell guy. |
| OP here. Like I already wrote, those were my original impressions. I think it is a little too much to suddenly jump to all these conclusions as some of you are, but as I also said, I am also suspicious of the timing and so on. Yeah, that photo isn't something I'd want to see of my own parent. |
| I think he is a nerd that came into fortune with hard work and then somewhat fame. Now he's the popular guy he never was and has lost a sense of himself. He acts like a giggly teenager on dwts with his partner. It'd be hard to watch if he was my dad. Not that he's not allowed to date but it's been so soon. Of course I don't know his story. His life could have been horrible and divorce long time coming. People that are so rich and get consumed by it irritate. I guess his whole two weeks on the street gave him some perspective but why did he need that. I try to keep perspective everyday on how blessed we are. I still think he's ok but the giggly part on dwts annoys. |
| Google his house in Canada. It's freaking enormous. |
