Shark Tank fans -- recent news on Robert Herjavec's divorce

Anonymous wrote:Hi everyone, OP here. I appreciate that others can relate, because I do think he's a sincere guy, etc., like I wrote. I hope it doesn't go in that (usually) predictable direction of him getting a younger girlfriend, just because of those other thoughts about him. I don't have time to view in full, but I saw an article linking to an interview with his wife in their home. Here it is if anyone's interested:

For as much money as they have I am surprised she hasn't gotten that neck fixed.

I was wrong. OP was right. Robert is dating his DWTS partner, Kym Johnson.

OP here. Gee, that was fast moving on for Robert. Can't say I am surprised. Like a couple of earlier PPs, I agree, we don't know of course what was going on with his wife (not to now blame her; we don't know all details of course). But now I can't help to feel badly for her (again, not knowing her, etc., etc.), given this Kym update.

OP again. I meant to add that I also can't help feeling badly for their kids. Wonder, too, what the fellow Sharks think. Ha, so many questions. We'll see what comes out in the headlines.

Wow, I'm surprised, but then again, I'm not.

She basically looks like his wife with less weight. Good lesson to learn.

I think the dancing people picked her for him bc she looks so much like his wife. Knew it'd be headlines.

Is the lesson that some people prioritize looks over character?

Kym is my favorite dancer on DWTS.

Good read the Relationship forum about "Do you wish your husband made more money?"

There's a lot of things people prioritize over character.

This is so cliche. And he clearly is not the great guy the OP imagines he is. Wonder how his kids will feel about him and this move?

PS - He is clearly into his appearance and has had work done...that's the first red flag when it comes to a man's values and character. No clue why this guy does it for OP. No clue.

If I was suddenly free after years of marriage, you *bet* I'd go after Kym's male equivalent. Go Robert!!

Um, I'm guessing the dance partner played a role in the breakdown of his marriage. Even though the episodes just started airing, they've been practicing for quite some time.

And I think it's just plain gross when older men to after really young women. Gross.

And you know she's just into him for his money. She'll enjoy the perks of being with a super rich guy for a while, but she won't stick around long. Remember that episode of SATC about old man ass?

She's 38, he's 51. So 38 qualifies as really young these days?

OP here. 19:13, I agree it is extremely cliche, but who was to know this was coming? Based on some of the comments in this thread, I am not the only one who mentioned about being a fan of his, as one of the Sharks. Those comments were strictly about his 'performance' on that show. I had no idea about the marriage dissolution, and then the Dancing news, until later. In any case, I agree with you as well, PP, that it is outright gross -- and again, very cliche -- for a suddenly single older man (and sometimes, not necessarily single!) to go after a younger woman. No doubt Kym will be/is drawn in by the dough.
