In the buzzfeed link, the dress is definitely gold and white. In the link presented here, it is blue and brown.

So, it really is blue and black?! Why were some people seeing gold and white?! Some sort of crazy optical illusion? Are they color blind? Insane?

I've seen it both ways within a few minutes of each other in the same device. Don't expect it to be as blue/black as that other link given, it's more subtle.

I see blue and a washed out black. My husband sees white and gold.

Fixed it. (white/gold seer here)

Read the explanation hun! Seems you are missing some colors from your perceptive spectrum!

And I'm dying to see it in white and gold!

I don't get this at all. The dress is blue and black. I've clicked on all the links and in every one - blue. black.

I've looked at it a few different times on different websites and I only see white and gold.

The dress has changed colors for me multiple times. Why does it keep changing?

I have figured it out! See if this makes sense. It has to do with whether you look at it top to bottom or bottom to top.

The top of the pic has a black band across it. That black makes it obvious the dress isn't - so it's white/gold.

If you are processing it from bottom to top, the first thing you see is the white background comments. That white background makes it obvious the dress is not white, hence the blue/black appearance.

I only see white and gold, my DH only sees blue and black. We are looking at the same pic on the same screen. Crazy!
