+1 These are all rather old names; I think Claudia might be the youngest, but even that's the descendant of a much older name. Someone asked a poster on one of the many name threads if they actually knew any strippers or frequented any strip clubs, and I've got to say, I don't and I haven't. Furthermore, it's just in such poor taste to kick people at the bottom of the socioeconomic totem pole. Especially when the kickers tend to be not just women born with a silver spoon in their mouths, but a whole drawerful on top of that. |
| I like Valentina the best. Not a fan of the other two. |
These names have been around for hundreds of years. I doubt a stripper is going to be Josephine. |
+1 Love Josie |
Or maybe a stripper will. So what? |
| Well, I am biased as my baby girl is a Josephine/Josie. |
| Josephine is becoming popular. Know of 3 born in the last year and a half. Valentina I don't like, Claudia is fine. |
|
Claudia always sounds like clod to me.
I like Valentina. Then Josephine, but not Josie or Jo. |
| I know a little Claudia. I love it. It's my cat's name too coincidentally |
| Valentina is a pretty moniker. |
I keep the stock tips to myself but 20 years ago I was warning all the mothers choosing Tiffany, Amber, Brittany, and Crystal of this very same thing. |
Mom of a Josephine/Josie myself. So of course I like that name. Claudia is meh. Always have loved Valentina but doesn't fit with my heritage. I do think it's beautiful though. |
