Claudia, Josephine or Valentina

I think all 3 are nice...but Valentina is a little "trying too hard." My favorite of the 3 is Josephine. Beautiful on it's own, but also lots of cute nickname possibilities!

Trying too hard to what?

Josephine/Josie gets my vote for sure. I know a great five year old with that name.

I like Claudia, but no good nicknames I can think of.

I love Josephine! Josie is a nice nn for when she is younger. Claudia is okay. I don't care for Valentina.

Josephine by far. Also love the nickname Josie.

My best friend is Claudia, so I'm biased. She sometimes goes by Claud, but it's not really a nickname-friendly name (but is so pretty on its own).

Not a fan of either Josephine or Valentina.

Right, what's wrong with Valentine? Why make it Valentina?!

OP is not making it Valentina. Valentina already exists as a name..

Wow, I can't get over some of these names, many of which will be stripper names in 20 years.

Valentina is such a mouthful. Four syllables is just too many, IMO. Plus, I would never choose a name that had any remote chance of being turned into Tina, which I really dislike.

I am neutral on Josephine and Claudia.

Valentina is a little strange in America -- I tend to agree with the PP who said it sounds a little trashy. But I knew a Russian woman names Valentina, and it made sense for her (she was born and raised in Russia, though).

I hate these responses. If you post about a name that may be more frequently used in other countries, someone always posts that it's trashy or the name of a future stripper. FFS at least come up with something new.

I love Valentina. I also like Josephine and Claudia, but Valentina is my favorite.

I like all three!
