Anyone receive HS magnet program decisions yet?

My DD has been asking her friends and some of them have gotten letters from a variety of high schools. All of the except for one of the letters have been acceptances. However, the majority of her friends simply haven't gotten any mail yet. I assume we're definitely going to be getting all the letter by the end of next week.

Last year all accepted got them one day and all rejections/waitlist came after.

DC was wait listed but we know kids that received rejections and acceptance letters yesterday.

DC is very math-oriented and likely to choose Blair, but we will visit RM again to get a better feel for it. Not all that interested in CAP as it isn't a great fit (but it looks like a wonderful program).

DC is very math-oriented and likely to choose Blair, but we will visit RM again to get a better feel for it. Not all that interested in CAP as it isn't a great fit (but it looks like a wonderful program).

The CAP and Blair acceptances were in large manila envelopes, but the RM one is in a regular-size envelope.

What do you and your child think of Wheaton Engineering program? I happened to drive by Wheaton HS yesterday and the new building already looks amazing.

Don't give up...make sure DS writes a letter to the Poolesville magnet stating why Poolesville should consider taking DS. Poolesville already knows what they can do for DS, DS needs to close the deal and tell Poolesville what they can do for them!
