If he caught doing that at MCPS, the police would go after him. Good grief. |
Same. I thought it was amazing when I moved here. I'm sure every system has dirt, but these types of issues happen way too often, and in a vacuum of leadership, IMO. |
I'd like to believe that, but it's been proven that it's not always the case in MCPS. MCPS does a better job of protecting sex offenders than it does of protecting the students, IMO. |
If he did this at the humane society, it would be front page news, the police would be all over him. National news on this poor animals. At a school system, we quietly move him to another job????? |
under Starr yes |
I agree with you 100%. However, it does happen everywhere. And having consulted quite a bit, the other systems have nothing close to what MCPS can offer. It is ahead of the game. Still, the leader sets the tone, and Starr is one of the worst role models a system could have. I am hoping the BOE is awake at this point and recognizes that Starr's out for himself. Kick him in the ass onto the streets, I say. Let some other system suffer under him. |
Definitely out for himself. He applied for the NYC superintendent position just two years into his term here. He doesn't care about Montgomery County at all. http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/education-officials-lobbied-against-starr-in-new-york-city/2013/12/31/c3017ed0-7249-11e3-8b3f-b1666705ca3b_story.html |
| Where would we complain about the issues with sexual assaults and how they hire and maintain staff. My daughter just complained of a super creepy substitute and it reminded me of these posts. I want to go above the principal. She won't do a thing? |
Anyone ? |
He should be in jail or a mental hospital! and yes-he should most certainly be fired. So sick! (wonder if he cried racism in order to keep a job within MCPS?) |
