Bowser's Latest on School Boundaries

Probably, but that is not a legal matter.

Whether or not changes or tweaks or an undoing or a total halt or anything else should happen in regard to the boundary changes is a separate question from whether they can happen. Moreover, both of those are separate from will happen. I think the boundary change notification can be rescinded. Without additional knowledge of why it might be rescinded, I have no opinion on whether it should be rescinded. Based on what I do know, I don't think it will be rescinded.

This is why Henderson could leave DCPS after a Mission Accomplished of implementing Common Core and PARCC tests. Why stick around for the fallout?

Muriel Bowser can't do anything without Marion Barry's AND Tony Williams' approval. Neither have skin in the game directly for 2015-16.

If charter enrollment nears or tops 50% under Bowser, her local political career is over.

Just sayin....

She says she wants "change" but I'm hoping she decides to "tweak" very little within the overall administration. This city could go off the wheels pretty quick if she brings back Marion Barry-era cronies.

Her transition team includes some pretty serious types, including Alice Rivlin. And I am sure the Mayor For Life will be delighted to see Tommy Wells leading the Transportation subcomm of the transition team.

PP almos used Tommy Wells and pretty serious person in the same sentence. Rivlin seems like window dressing.

Forgive my ignorance, but why do you think this is true? My sense is that most people seem to be warming up to charters.

Bitter your candidate lost? Get over it! If you don't like it or the city or the direction it's going in PLEASE MOVE!!! Good riddance to all you bitch whiners who've done nothing for the city.

Haven't had your coffee yet? You don't appear to know much about me or DCUM.

Bowser is probably a whole lot more intelligent (and clearly more successful) than most of the dimwits that have posted on this topic. Get a life, losers.

Ms. Bowser, it would serve you well to get your act together on your education platform and stop trolling DCUM.

Success = selling yourself to the highest bidder? Could you please point to 10 of her purported "successes" other than being elected by riding on the coattails of the corrupt DC Democratic Machine?

Hopefully Rivlin is pulling the strings in the background. Otherwise we are screwed.

Yes, her experience working on the Marshall Plan and for Lyndon Johnson could prove helpful.

I'll choose intelligent but old over what we got.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought she was mayor-elect of New York too.
