Do women pretty much all hate each other?

Ladies, just Google "women hate each other." OP ain't alone

If I wanted to find sweeping generalizations about any class of people, Google is the first place I'd go!

Yes, we ALL hate each other! Gold star to you for cracking girl code!

This is why there is no such thing as lesbians, why NO woman on the face of the planet has girlfriends, why there are routine news stories of women stabbing each other for no reason, just because they see another female and go berserk.

You pretty much hit the nail right on the head OP.

It does start in middle school + goes all the way into adulthood.

Women are just competitive, catty, gossipy and extremely judgmental of one another by nature it seems.

Men are so much more laid back about things.

When women get in disagreements, it usually is the end of the world (at least for them.) They usually make mountains out of molehills and may not speak to each other for years over something so minor. Women like to carry grudges since they have so much pride.

Men have a lot of pride as well, however they tend to shy away from any type of drama.

Men can argue on second w/one another, then the next they can be so over it.

Lol. Exactly. Maybe we should be asking if MEN hate all people since there are so many mass shootings and violent crimes committed almost exclusively by men, looking at statistics. I mean, if were going off the media and all that, I think that's the only logical conclusion...

Anonymous wrote:Nope. I went to an all girls high school (not in DC) and while we sometimes got in fights, we also supported each other so much more than I'd ever previously known was possible. I learned that you could be honest about yourself and your life, and true friends will still love you. I learned how to be a good friend and have good friends. I learned that my friends were even more accepting than my parents could be.

Since then I've sought out women to be friends with who feel the same way I do. We sometimes need to agree to disagree, or take breaks from each other but we always forgive or talk things out and come back to each other. I seek out women who are very low drama. I have daughters and want them to be able to see me as an example of how to be a friend.

This is my experience is well. If your daughter at an all-girls school is older than a freshman and still experiencing catty BS at an all-girls school --- there's something wrong.

It would be much better if men stopped killing people and raping and acted cafdy instead.

Guessing you mean "acted catty" and I so agree. I mean, giving someone a mean look and generally being unfriendly compared to rape and murder? Women are clearly the evil, crueler sex. No wonder we all hate each other! /s

Love how these threads spiral out of control. Y'all belong on a cheesy daytime talk show.

OP there are plenty of women like you are describing everywhere. I was in a bookclub but had to quit because there was a woman who came every week and would just gossip and bitch about people. I just wanted to have thoughtful chit chat about books. There are nice women too. You just have to cut the nasty ones out of your life.

Yes, women can be gossipy and back-biting. But I guess it beats what men do...when men fight, it's violent, and often to the death.

Odds of sock-puppeting on this thread by trolling OP - very high.

Oddly I like beautiful women more...even more so if they're also smart. And I'm a fairly beautiful woman, at least in DC, maybe not LA.
