Penzeys Spices on rockville pike!

Nice store but ridiculously expensive. I never buy spices there. Many grocery stores carry it - look for Spanish brands and it's called "Pimenton de la Vera."

Otherwise, if you're ever in downtown Bethesda, the Spanish store next to the Mercedes dealership has it. Used to be called A&H Seafood but they just expanded and I think they changed the name.

We use it in everything!

Dehydrated garlic from Costsco by far for the following reasons:

can be use in place of fresh and tastes the same
doesn't burn when used for sautéing
no prep, no clean-up!
it lasts forever

seriously, it has changed my cooking life, I never buy fresh garlic anymore unless I am roasting it or thinly slicing it for a recipe

I'm intrigued; what do you use it for?

Not PP but this is my vote too. I use it on all kinds of roasted veggies (like sweet potato, broccoli, cauliflower) to give them a bacon-y flavor, also in chili and stews. Great in potato soup.

PP here! Bacon flavor?!? Thank you so much for enlightening me! I shall get some as soon as possible.
