how long after delivery?

| We tried just before 6 weeks but it was too painful for me. Managed to do it a few weeks later but still have only done it a handful of times total (now 3 months pp). Unfortunately for me (and DH), my sex drive just tanked during pregnancy and hasn't returned at all. I still find it uncomfortable even 3 months out, but it's important to me that we keep trying, even if it's not that great yet. Hoping once our DS starts sleeping more that things will get better... |

For me, we usually resume sex about 5 or 6 weeks after. For me, it's never been particularly uncomfortable. My drive always is back to normal right away too.
Just had my 6th this week so talk to me in early December lol. |

| About two months. I had a relatively easy birth with only minor tearing, but I was nursing and really dry. We had sex but it was mostly just uncomfortable to me. The sllep deprivation did a number on both of us, as well. |
