Better not touch the gas pump or a parking meter. How you you be sure no one coughed on your car?

And don't go to the gym, because Ebola is definitely on the public towels. And on the Elliptical hand rails.

And on the coins from any transactions you make. Also, all the buttons on credit card machines.

Honestly? I bet you have Ebola right now. Are you suddenly feeling a bit warm? Or a sudden chill? You better not get too comfortable.

Yes, the dc metro area if full of vapid, obnoxious, insensitive individuals who lack even a thread of empathy and human decency.

Yep. Smug people who overestimate their own intelligence.

I'm starting to think the hysteria is an extension of the vapid snowflake-ness attitude in DC, like people think they're so special and unique, that they really might be personally affected by Ebola. It's weird and twisted, but it's similar to how some people are just addicted to drama.

Woosh…that one flew over your head entirely. Did you even read the bolded part. Especially the part about insensitivity, empathy and human decency?

Oh man, I totally didn't know that the empathy police would be on duty tonight. Apologies, officer. Please charge me with your armchair diagnosis du jour.

If Certain company founders fell ill and died it would effect many of the worker's lives. That is my cross bear.

Well, you do suck at being a decent human being, but my guess is you already know that, so the diagnosis is free.

With or without Ebola, the metro is a cesspool of germs. When I quit the metro and started driving, I stopped getting colds.

Metro , the transportation super highway for diseases. How many homeless people ride or gather around the stations?

Pretty sure I'm at higher risk of catching something from the students at my W-feeder school than a homeless person hanging around Metro.

Gloves and hand sanitizer should prevent transmission among metro riders. Stock up.

The flu and enterovirus aren't 50-90% fatal.

More people will die of the flu this year than ebola.

Anonymous wrote:Yes, OP. You should definitely be concerned and not ride. I hope you also tell all your friends, and I hope everyone reading this also follows this advice.

Signed,
Metro rider looking forward to stretching out during my daily commute
