| Definitely a risk if someone is on there who is sick. If a sick person sneezes the virus is in the air and in surfaces. |
|
Ebola is not airborne. It's a fluid exposure. If you aren't walking around with open sores or letting people cough or sneeze droplets into your eyes or mouth, then it's not an issue. People have flown on planes with active Ebola and no one on the plane caught it.
The American doctors who caught it had physical contact with body fluids of Ebola patients when they weren't wearing body substance isolation gear. |
| If it gets too bad, Feds will be teleworking every day under a pandemic plan, I imagine. So seats on the metro should be plentiful. |
| Doc said three feet or less you can contract it. Ebola is messy and thats close enough tor a head turn to throw minute bits of body fluids into your eyes or mouth without you being aware |
I guess it may be easier to barricade yourself at home. People traveling to Ebola infected area are all over the DC Metro. |
But will that work against zombies? |
| Just hope you are not on the metro if someone starts throwing up. |
Seriously, IF? Everytime I ride, someone throws up. |
| 1 possible case in DC and another "possible" case in Gaithersburg (Shady Grove Hospital)... Too close for comfort if you ask me. Even last week, I'd have said it's not something we need to worry about but today, I am not so sure... |
| We are driving instead of metro |
Better not touch the gas pump or a parking meter. How you you be sure no one coughed on your car? |
I guess no one knows for sure. It's safe to say, I think, driving is lower risk than metro that is packed with people, don't you think? |
And don't go to the gym, because Ebola is definitely on the public towels. And on the Elliptical hand rails. And on the coins from any transactions you make. Also, all the buttons on credit card machines. Honestly? I bet you have Ebola right now. Are you suddenly feeling a bit warm? Or a sudden chill? You better not get too comfortable. |
Now, you are being simply stupid. |
Yes, the dc metro area if full of vapid, obnoxious, insensitive individuals who lack even a thread of empathy and human decency. |
