My best friend is attractive but nowhere near how hot your friend sounds. She had an ugly friend in college. The ugly friend had a lot of resentment towards my friend because my friend always had a boyfriend and guys interested in her. Everyone also liked the ugly friend as a friend.
If you are decent looking and have a great personality, someone will appreciate you.
+1. I am a guy, called cute my entire life (much to my disdain) with a friend who has been in a couple of movies and was a guest on soap operas. Needless to say, my friend, whom I have known forever, attracts women like a magnet. But whenever this has happened, a couple of them inevitably wind up talking to me and great things have happened because I am extroverted and like having fun. In fact, one I dated for two years. So OP don't dwell on who comes up to your friend. It's quality over quantity that wins the day.
