As the mother of an Ari (who is male and Jewish) I might be momentarily surprised at meeting your non-Jewish Ari. But then the moment would pass and I would congratulate you on having excellent taste in names.

I know two boys named Ariel (Jewish) and they are called Ari.
My friend named her baby Irie (eye-ree). Arie reminds me of the underwear section of a clothing store that I can't think of right now. I would assume you spelled your kid's name wrong. |
