Tell me what school your kids go to, if you LOVE almost everything about it..

Another very pleased MV family. We love the experiential learning, the warm, down-to-earth and friendly community, the high-quality aftercare, and the language immersion. We are happily following the school to the new location. It is a harder commute for us, but it will be a much better facility.

Had a great pre-K year at Mann.

Is there some helpful purpose to this thread? Perhaps a first-time parent to a two-year old who's new to the whole schools biz?

Maybe it's a good question to ask when researching schools, but reading all this post-lottery feels like salt in a wound.

Haynes. I absolutely love the school, and so do my DC. Didn't play the lottery and will likely stay there through 12

And I'll tell you why. This is no longer a search for the perfect school. It's a quest. It's a quest for fun. You're gonna have fun, and I'm gonna have fun... We're all gonna have so much fucking fun we're gonna need plastic surgery to remove our goddamn smiles! You'll be whistling 'Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah' out of your assholes!

Marie Reed. My son is in a Mixed Age class, and his teacher is awesome. I'm looking forward to what next year holds and I'm happy we took a chance.

Yu Ying - we absolutely love it! It's hard to believe an opportunity like this is a free, public school - in DC of all places.

Bridges! Wish it was closer to Brookland but love the amazing staff, diversity, etc.
