I've tried paccisin FG several times and just don't think it's great. I wish that I did. It's the closest restaurant to my house an I like the atmosphere. Any specific suggestions?

I like La Malinche for their all you can eat brunch (haven't had dinner yet), Ren's Ramen, Kantutas (Bolivian), Max's for the falafel, Ruan Thai, 8407, Mi La Kay (vietnamese), Dessie Ethiopian (because they have take out and I lived across the street), Seoul Food (in a gas station in Wheaton, but innovative food), IKKO sushi, Jackie's (fun brunch place, haven't had dinner there yet)

Is Jewel of India the place that is supposedly run by the same people from Udupi Palace (man I miss that place...)

No, that's tiffin. Not as good, but haven't been in years now. Jewel of India is excellent but I had no idea they had a connection with the woodlands!

I found out from my friend who originally mentioned it to me that it is Curry Leaf in Laurel that has some connection with the owners of Udupi Palace. http://curryleafmd.com/

this thread is great. i've been eating in wheaton for forever, but never tried cristina's and some of the other places i've driven by numerous times.

max's has really great shawarma. falafel is good too. matzo ball soup is also good. but i always go for the shawarma.

full key has great HK style shrimp dumpling noodle soup, congee, clams in black bean sauce, salt/pepper squid, snow pea leaves.

woomi has a great korean lunch buffet.

el pollo rico is the most popular peruvian chicken joint in wheaton but i also really like the spicy sauce at crisp & juicy (attached to the mall, under the parking garage) because none of the other peruvian chicken places have the same kind of sauce. that probably means it's not an authentic style sauce but i don't care, it's so good.

ren's ramen is one of very few ramen-only places in the entire area. the broth is so salty though. i also just have a hard time paying $15 for a bowl of ramen.

According to Google, Mountain Jack's is not in MD. No idea what that person was talking about.

Is this a joke? It's a dive-y little carry-out across from the railroad tracks.

And not dive-y in a good way.

I've gone a few times for breakfast. Fine, reasonably clean but not very pleasant to sit in as its cold.
