Should we start a "gifted child" forum? Good grief.

If you see the word "gifted" in the title of a thread and you do not have a sincere interest in the topic, then simply move along.


I agree with this. It seems like an occasional, labeled thread on the general parenting board makes a lot of sense.

I am the OP, and I think that after reading so many posts from the gifted parents that maybe they SHOULD have a forum. I mean, they have very SPECIFIC issues and do not quite fall into special needs forum (which they say, not me). Could we try it? Scratch it if it does not enough traffic.

BUT lately there have been some threads that have the "woe is me" sound to them. These are problems real to the people having them, but eye-roll inducing to those who do not.



Do you mind posting a link to the thread that is bugging you so much? I've obviously been missing something here.
