can anyone recommend their OB in DC?

Love Foxhall. Benn happy with all the doctors there, although extra props for Dr Beckerman who was my primary, delivered my child and helped me through some unexpected challenges post partum and in the past years. Really liked Pardo and Sarafian, too. Office is warm, never long waits and never felt like a number. Oh, and the nurse who takes questions is amazing and gets back to you so quickly.

I love Foxhall. I love Foxhall so much. Dr Sarafian delivered my son. She is amazing. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes, honestly, and my son is 5 years sold. I ALWYAS get a call back promptly if I call in for a problem, which was all the time when I was pregnant. I recently had a hysterectomy with Dr Pardoe. She is an amazing woman, Smart, easy to talk to , and knows her shit. Cant say enough good things about Foxhall!

the only drawback is that the georgetown practice is really busy, and sometimes the wait can be long if you don't have an appt first thing in the morning. also, because the docs rotate in L&D, your OB might not be the OB who delivers you. Colie wasn't on duty when I went into labor. the OB who delivered DS (Dr. Buek) was totally awesome, though I know he recently left the practice.

Another GUH/Dr. Colie fan chiming in. The practice is big and busy, but she is so good about taking time and never, ever making you feel rushed as a patient. I had a high risk (twin) pregnancy, so lots of monitoring, which meant I also got to see many of the other docs if Dr. Colie wasn't available. Dr. Yuri P (very long last name, so goes by Dr. Yuri), Dr. Masloomdoost (who delivered my twins) and other docs whose names are escaping me since it was a while ago.

I went to Dr. Larsen after Reiter Hill and had a great experience with him as well as L&D at GWU. He was the only doctor who asked me what my birthplan was and was very patient with all of my questions.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Yuri.

I tried just about everyone in the practice and just clicked with Yuri. He saw me as a whole person and that really mattered to me.
