How/where do you use your federal employee discount?

I've read some really stupid stuff on DCUM but this is, BY FAR, one of the dumbest things ever written.

AT&T cell phones, hotel during family travel (we do ask first if they honor the govt. rate while not on official business and most do)

We are permitted to use the gov't rate during personal travel as long as the hotel knows it's personal travel and still offers the rate.

I get the discount on my Verizon wireless plan and used the gov't rate at the Disney Dolphin last year. It was an excellent savings at the time.

No one's mentioned the discounted childcare services offered in federal buildings. Usually that is below market rate compared to the centers in non-fed buildings and employees of the host agency get priority enrollment. So I would consider that a significant "discount."

Seriously? The Bright Horizons in my building charges around $1800 per month.
