Well, that's a choice. Not a smart choice, but a choice just the same. A smarter choice would be to just do a referral, and then prepare to appeal with new information (with samples and references), and perhaps a WISC score. |

I have done this twice and I can tell you that I would never leave it to the school to prepare everything. Both DCs were in the pool, but I also did the parent questionaire, put in work samples AND included a WISC with the initial packet. i wanted there to be no doubt that my DC needed this program.
Others might say to save the WISC, but why. I didn't want to appeal, I wanted them to be accepted. |
