"The investigation is still in its early stages, but Judd said there were warning signs that nobody noticed. If detectives can find evidence, according to Florida law, the girls could be charged with felony cyber stalking because Sedwick was under 16 years old. " I hope they are charged, and fully prosecuted. |
| OP, are Rebecca Sedwick's mom from Florida? I am so sorry for what your DD and your family has suffered. |
| This is so sad and seems to be happening more and more. I would want to throw away the computer, the cell phone, and pull my child out of the school. We need to protect our kids from all these nasty, angry, people. It is so sad to hear of all these kids committing suicide. |
| Rebecca Sedwick committed suicide on Monday September 9, 2013. She was being text-bullied. She was 12 years old. |
| RIP Rebecca. |
| Keep a copy of every single text, email, written thing that was said to your daughter. Bring that evidence to the principal directly. |
+1! |
| Fortunately, Grace's Law goes into act tomorrow in MD. This law makes cyber-bullying against the law! Yeah! |
