neighbors ivy creeping in through fence

I bet if you get a survey and its your fence you probably own the land that is on the neighbors side with the ivy.

And (you already know this if you have a brain)- it has to be on your OWN property. No exceptions, or you will be in deep water. (Again, I've seen it. Certifiable, indeed.)

Bahaha that's completely false and the sign suggestion (it's not a law) doesn't even apply to home owners. The sign ids mostly advertising for the company.

forget the round-up -- how about ask the neighbors if you (or someone you hire) can go over to their side and cut the ivy at the base of your fence. Ivy is really bad for fences and should be pulled off of them before you end up having to spend $5000 replacing the fence.

I spray-with round up-the ivy that creeps into my property whenever I see it. I of course don't let my dog and children play in that area until the stuff dies off. It donesn't take that long.

I have not had a problem with the neighbors. They understand that it is my property and they are not interested in coming over in my yard to trim it to keep me happy. Whatever is in my yard is my responsibility.

19:48 - Ho would it be advertisement if it is tiny flags from the hardware store with no writing? Are you nuts?

If a a puppy (for example) gets sick or dies from your poison, would you feel bad for not posting little flags that are about 10 cents each? Really?

I love that in DC, rape kits lay mouldering yet the vice squad is on whatever in gods name someone may or may not be spraying on an invasive weed.

Is this the world in which you really want to live??

Spray the ivy with Roundup, get rid of it before it gets out of control. Thank you 06:49, you are exactly correct.

Fuck neighbors. Buy the house, yet it down. Piss on the ashes

What does yet mean? I would say keep the ivy and tear the old house down.

What does it all mean? What are we doing here?

Getting rid of ivy, cut it up , kill it with round up, anything to get rid of it!

You can cut what is on your side of the property, OP. What is the big deal? If you are so lazy that this seems too much for you, then what do you care about the ivy at all? It doesn't *do* anything!
