Hey, don't put me in the same category as the grass fed beef poster! I just started the 5:2 diet and have noticed it is a good way to save money on food, is all. 2 days of mini-fasting cut back on the need to buy food those days, for sure. http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2013/07/29/205845319/two-day-diets-how-mini-fasts-can-help-maximize-weight-loss Of course if you don't have to lose weight, it's not a good idea. |

I'd purchase:
bread, tortillas eggs hamburger potatoes or rice cheese bananas or another cheap fruit lettuce & carrots or celery, etc to make salads oatmeal beans I'd spend less than $50 on that stuff...it might get a little boring, but should last for the week! |

I would go to the library and check out FREE - for a few weeks - cookbooks.
I cut my grocery bill in half by not buying cereal, bread, or any baked goods. I bake my own. Learn to cook...You can live for a week or two on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. You can live forever on a pot of beans, tortillas, a vegetable/fruit, and glass of milk but for the long haul..Learn to cook.. |
Go to bed. You don't have anything to offer here. |
