Where in DC area did you buy your comfortable couch?

We got a $4k couch for about $1800. If you check online they have a lot of custom couches that get returned for whatever reason. I saw one I liked on the website, went in to see the floor sample at the store on 14th and then bought it online in the store. It's an awesome couch. Made in NC and looks like a million bucks.

Where online can I check this? I'm looking at their web site and just see all their regular couches for sale. I would love to get a returned custom couch!

Thanks!

We bought a large sofa at a yard sale for $400. The lady holding the estate sale said it was a Baker sofa and explained how well they were built. We had it slip covered for $900 about five years ago. It is the most comfortable sofa and has withstood our three active boys, a dog, and many hours of entertaining. I now buy most of our furniture from estate sales because it is better quality than anything made today. I watch the Crate and Barrell, Pottery Barn, Hamilton and similar sofas go in the front door out the door a few years later.

Another vote for Radley at Macy’s. We’ve had one for a few years now and have no complaints. It was the most tailored sectional we could find under $2000. I really don’t like the look of the overstuffed or reclining couches. We have a more expensive crate and barrel couch in another room and it’s definitely higher quality, but I regularly have teenagers piled on the Radley eating pizza and snacks and don’t want to worry about what happens to it. At the price we paid I also wont feel bad about replacing it when it’s beat up.
