This describes me exactly. |

Yes of course. Ive been known to leave a sippy cup at a friends house and picked it up some time later. Or ive had sippy cups left at my house. Of course id just toss in the dishwasher and return it clean. Same with the occassional mixed up sippy cup or wrong cot sheet That gets tossed in my our daycare Bag by mistake - of course i wash it and return it to the next day or monday.
If i got those containers and cups back so much later unwashed, id totally toss them before trying to deal with the mold in the crevices. |
| If I was returning the bag within a day or two, I wouldn't. Given that this was a month or so, I would have looked inside and washed stuff so that there wouldn't be rotten/stinky food/milk in there. Once stuff has rotted/molded inside a bottle or sippy cup, it's pretty much done for -- sadly, I speak from experience. |
| ha ha ha!! just the thought of handing a friend a bag of smelly MONTH-OLD (!!!!!) dirty dishes cracks me up! wow. just wow. I really can't fathom how this is a question. next day, maybe even two - then perhaps not if i did not have a dishwasher or they were not dishwasherable. But WEEKS later? duh - of course you wash them. |

PP here - I assume it was a lunch bag type thing. If a diaper bag, I agree that I would not likely go thru it unless friend asked me to and unless she pointed out (or I saw) that it had a bottle, i wouldn't think to ask her about it.

| it was a "little thermal bag" folks... not a diaper bag or personal purse thing. |
